Grub Damage Can Be Silent and Substantial

When grubs and insects see your lawn, they see a smorgasbord of roots. And when birds, moles, and raccoons see the grubs, they’re ready to dig in, too. By the time you realize the grubs are there, the damage to your yard is already done, and it’s not pretty. That’s why preventive grub applications are so important.

Grub Control Service in Central New Jersey

Grubs attack your grass from underneath by eating roots. You may notice brown patches dotting your yard, spongy turf, or loose, wilting grass, because the grass no longer can absorb water. If the infestation is bad, you may also see tunneling or holes from animals trying to eat the grubs.

Lawn Insect Control

Common insects that damage lawns in Montgomery Township and the Princeton area include chinch bugs, billbugs, sod webworms, and armyworms. These pests go after the stems and blades of grass and destroy them. Early prevention can keep your grass from showing brown or yellow patches and ragged, chewed grass blades.

Keep the Bugs Away

Starting early is key. Green Valley offers late spring/early summer grub and insect control applications so your yard is protected before these pests establish themselves in your yard. You won’t have to worry about insects wreaking havoc on your green space, so you can spend your summer as you should, barefoot in lush, healthy grass.
