Managing ticks on your property takes careful timing. We apply flea and tick prevention three times a year: once in May, once in late June, and again in September, targeting peak tick activity and popular outdoor holidays. This keeps tick populations low all season long and helps prevent them from establishing a presence in your outdoor spaces.

For extra protection, we recommend a few simple habits: avoid spending time near dense brush and tall grass (prime tick habitat), do a tick check before heading indoors, and wear light-colored clothing to help spot ticks before they attach.

How often are treatments needed?

Our program provides 4 timed applications, 3 of which are timed right before the big holiday weeks of the summer. Please note, ticks can be active year round. 

Will treatments eliminate every tick?

No. Flea and tick treatments significantly reduce tick populations but won’t eliminate every tick. Treatments create a protective zone and knock down active pests, but ticks can re-enter from wooded edges, wildlife, or neighboring yards between visits. 

Are treatments safe for pets?

Yes, we use an organic product that is safe for pets and children. We still recommend to limit activity the day of service to allow time for the product to work, especially during the first hour to allow the liquid to dry. 

Do I need treatment if my property borders woods?

We would suggest treatments since woods are ideal tick habitats.
